On June 2, 2007, the Morales Park Committee will be sponsoring its semi-annual
Community Work Day at the Morales Nature Park, a 52-acre passive nature preserve in
Raritan Township. By working with Iocal civic organizations, students, scouts, and
individuals, we hope to complete several projects on this day. These are:
Rake chips back onto trails where ATC vehicles have spread them out;
Cut brush, overhanging branches and move chips where
needed.
We need your help, and we urge you to
encourage others to participate on June 5th. We will provide all workers with
coffee. soft drinks and lunch prepared by Senior Citizens. It is a great way to make
friends and have a hand in building your park.
We hope you will support this activity.
Please contact Trudy Suleiman at 806-2485 or Mrs.
R. Buckwalter at 782-8292 with an estimated number participants so that we are
able to plan the quantities needed for lunch.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: (We have
supplies, such as, shovels and rakes.)
Please bring your own: Limb Loppers, Gloves, Brush Cutters (non-electric), Wheelbarrows to
move chips (if you have one)
